Quaker members have participated during September in events ranging from the Quaker Mile on the track to the 155 mile Fire and Ice event in Iceland.
Congratulations to Richard Hughes who completed the Fire and Ice Challenge.
Dawn Richardson took part in the Vancouver half marathon and was second in her age category.
Lee Morris and Carol Penney achieved new personal best times in the Teespride 10K.
At the Great North Run Michael Joyeux, Dave Jones and Darren Wright earned new personal best half marathon times.
In the Vale of York half marathon Dawn Richardson was second in her age category and Diane Vaughan was third in her age category.
In the autumn coast road 5K Alex Kiel was the second finisher, Michael Joyeux was fifth and Paul Dalton was eighth. Julie Whinn achieved a new personal best and set a new Club Record for the Female V55.
At the Coxhoe 10K Michael Joyeux took second place.
In the Aklam Grange 5K event Alex Kiel was second and Michael Joyeux took fourth place.
In the local South Park 20 which was a 20 lap event Marc Ellis was the third finisher.
In the TeesTrail Summer series Jill Clapp was awarded second prize in her age category and Danny Gordon won in his age category.
In the Snape 10K, Kyle Cook was eighth finisher with Rob Dent taking tenth place.
At the Redcar half marathon, Michael Joyeux was seventh. Paul Dalton was second in his age category, Dave Jones and Gary Read set new personal best times, Sally was first in her age category, Dawn Richardson was first in her age category and second female finisher. Julie Whinn was third in her age category and also set a new half marathon Club Record.
Up in Scotland at the Loch Ness marathon Michael Oliver earned himself a new personal best time and Jamie Pratt completed his first marathon.
A massive well done to all those for competing in events whatever the distance.
