As the year is coming to an end there are a few less races than over the summer but that has not stopped the Quaker competitors achieving some great results.
At the Guy Fawkes 10 mile event at Ripley Castle new personal best times were set for Marc Ellis, Lindsey Lester, Gill Colling and Sue New. At this race Louise Trainor finished second in her age Category.
In the Leeds Abbey Dash Lisa Alderson as Diane Adkins set new 10K personal best times.
At the Tees Trail Winter 5K at the new venue of Billingham Beck Park Alex Kiel won the race.
Brian Martin represented England at the British & Irish Masters Cross County International, held at Tollcross Park, Glasgow. He was part of the team which secured a bronze medal for England in his age category.
At the NYSD cross country race at Fox Rush, Redcar Dawn Richardson finished in fourth place. In the men’s race Alex Kiel finished in sixth.
At the Heaton 10K Kyle Cook, Daniel Orton, Steven Major, Rebecca Howard, Andrew Dixon, David Ledgerwood , Gemma Eddy, Andy Whittam and Michelle Scruby earned themselves new personal bests.
In the Cowpen Bewley trail race Marc Ellis finished in 7th place.
At the Hardmoors Goathland Half Marathon Michael Joyeux kept up his winning streak for the series and won the race.
In the 10K at Ravenstonedale, Marc Ellis finished in third place and Paul Dalton was sixth. Brian Martin and Alan Prest were 1st in their age categories. Dawn Richardson was the 3rd female to finish. Dawn Richardson, Louise Trainor and Rebecca Howard won the ladies team prize.
