Despite the cold and wet weather of February we have 3 new Club records and a Gold Medal to celebrate.
In the cross country at Summerhill, Hartlepool Marc Ellis was 2nd in his age category and Brian Martin was 1st in his age category.
At the cross country event at Wallsend which was the North East Masters Dawn Richardson finished in 2nd place overall and took the gold medal for her age category and Louise Trainor was 4th in her age category.
In the Dewsbury 10K road race Alex Kiel set a new 10K personal best time. Brian Martin was 1st in his age category and set a new Club Record for his age group. Also, Alex Kiel, Paul Dalton and Brian Martin also won the male team prize.
Ian Bond ran the 1 mile road race at South Shields and set a new Club Record for his age category.
At the Blackpool half marathon Dave Thompson was 3rd in his age category and set a new Club Record.
In the Cowpen Bewly absent Friends trail race Paul Dalton was 5th overall and 1st in his age category.
At the 10K event in Newcastle on the Town Moor Louise Trainor was 1st in her age category.
At the old racecourse at Richmond Louise Trainor was 3rd in her age category, Marc Ellis was 2nd in his category and Brian Martin was 1st in his.
In the half marathon Hardmoors event at Saltburn Phil Rutter was 3rd in his age category.
The Snake Lane 10 mile race at Pocklington, Michael Joyeux finished in 3rd place.
In the ultra distance Trail run of 32 miles at Bolton Abbey Annette Clarke was the 1st lady finisher.
