The Mermaid 10km is a popular race for the Quakers which saw 31 runners taking part. It is an out and back course which sees the runners doing two laps of the promenade. It is a fairly flat and quick course.
Michael Joyeux took the top 50 points with a fantastic time of 00:32:36, With Nicola Wells taking the most points for the women with another fantastic time of 00:45:39. A few runners also recorded PBs on the 10km course.
Well done everyone. I hope you enjoyed a nice drink in the Quakers bar after the run!
The next race for the club championship is the Spring Coast 5k which starts at Redcar Rugby Club on Wednesday 26 April 2017.
