During April our club members competed in at least 27 events. Quakers attended races in Warsaw, Prague and Paris as well as all over the UK and ranged from 5 kilometres to 61 miles. The races were a mix of road, trail and fell.

At the Hartlepool Marina 5 mile road race there were personal best times for Brian Martin, Gillian Harris, Kyle Cook, Michael Joyeux and Sandra Martin. Michael Joyeux was 3rd in the race.  Brian Martin was 3rd in his age category and received the masters event bronze medal. Danny Gordon was 2nd in his age category and received the masters event silver medal.

In the Marathon at Manchester Gavin Armstrong and Gemma Marshall achieved PBs.

At the Hardmoors White Horse half marathon Michael Joyeux was in first place.

The London Marathon we saw Diane Vaughn, Marc Ellis and Michael Oliver achieve new personal best marathon times. Danny Gordon took the Club record for his age category.

At the Preston Park 5K Peter Rowley was 2nd in his age category whilst Danny Gordon was 1st in his age category and won the series prize.

Attending th Great Langdale 10k the Quaker girlies did well with Dawn Richardson and Katherine Hackett being the 1st and 2nd femaie runners and Louise Trainor took 1st in her age category,

David Jones at the Fountains Abbey 10K was 3rd in his age category.

Peter Rowley at the Lancaster 10K was 1st in his age category.

Taking part in the Hamsterley 10K Kyle Cook ran a new PB.
