The biggest Quakers turnout of the year could mean only one thing – the weekend of the home race, with exactly 100 Quakers making it to the start line.

Michael Joyeux was first home for the club, and ninth overall in 33:51. Last week also saw the latest two club championship races. Round six of the Stockton Summer Trail 5K series took place at Preston Park where Michael Joyeux came second overall in 16:56. Next to finish was Rob Dent in 19:51, followed by Dale Chapman (20:31), Richard Hughes (20:44), Stephen Moore (21:43), Ewan Henderson (22:38), Gary Read (22:42), Mark Colling (22:59), Diane Vaughan (23:37), Louise Trainor (23:51), Ty Hankinson (24:24), Jessica Campbell (24:46), April Corbett (25:02), Anthony Corbett (25:13), Lesley Miller (26:04), Julie Jefferies (26:10), Sarah Watson (26:37), Matt Jackson (26:41), Gill Colling (30:43), Aidan Robertson (31:07), Diane Adkins (34:21) and Emma Whitworth (34:22).

Meanwhile on the track, the second of the “Quaker Mile” events took place. Over four laps of the track, Michael Joyeux recorded 4.52, with Paul Dalton (5.12), Dale Chapman (5.29), Mark Robinson (5.36), Brian Martin (5.42), Gary Reid (5.45), Chris Minto (5.48), Paul Roberts (6.03), Ewan Henderson (6.04), Louise Trainer (6.20), Matthew Hall (6.24), Mark Colling (6.29), Anthony Corbett (6.32), Danny Gordon (6.43), Matt Jackson (6.48), April Corbett (6.51), Lesley Miller (7.06), Richard Payne (7.20), Sally Singleton (8.41), Diane Adkins (8.44).

In the Saturday morning parkruns, Richard Coulson was first home at South Park in 20:55, followed by Michael Joyeux (21:35), Louise Trainor (22:24), Peter Rowley (23:48), Zoe Rothery (23:58), Dale Chapman (24:28), Gary Read (24:50), Mark Robinson (24:50), Sarah Leach (28:25), Lee Morris (30:39), Michael King (30:49), Lucy Bendle (31:39), Lisa Burton (33:24), Wendy Noble (36:02) and Emma Whitworth (38:22).

Over at Sedgefield, Colin Wild finished in 20:14, along with Paul Roberts (22:20) and Jill Wallis (35:31). At Tees Barrage, Paul Keedy completed the course in 22:30, followed by April Corbett (24:32) and Sarah Watson (31:40), while Stephen Moore ran at Albert Park in 20:21.

Among the tourists, Mark Colling and Anthony Corbett ran at Druridge Bay in 24:57 and 24:58 respectively, Danny Gordon completed the Camperdown run in Dundee in 27:12, while Darryn Wood did the appropriately named Parke parkrun in 26:57.
