Louise Trainor was the first Quaker home at the Tees Trail 5k race at Preston Park last weekend, finishing first in her age group in 21:51. Stephen Moore was next home for the club in 22:04, followed by Ewan Henderson in 22:39 and Gary Read in 23:39. Ty Hankinson was close behind in 23:46, whilst Danny Gordon recorded 25:13, Matt Jackson 26:21, David Mogie 26:51, Aiden Robertson 29:01, Darren Wood 35:00 and Diane Adkins 31:41.
In local park runs, Sedgefield celebrated its 100th event with Mark Colling (25:33), Abbie Hull (25:47), Richie Payne (27:07), Nicola Howe (27:49), Gill Colling (30:18) and Jill Wallis (39:23) in attendance. At Durham and Shildon, Alan Prest and Colin Wild recorded 32:36 and 22:24 respectively whilst at Albert Park, Stephen Moore recorded 20:19 ahead of Paul Roberts in 21:45. Stephen Deighton ran the Stewart Park course in 21:18, finishing just ahead of Lucy Jefferies who was first lady in 21:25. At Tees Barrage, Paul and Jeanette Appleton finished in 26:04 and 29:18 whilst Darlington’s event was completed by Peter Commane (19:25), Michael Kay (20:09), Nick Wadd (21:33), Chris Minto (21:42), Ty Hankinson (22:40), Rob Gillham (22:48), Dale Chapman (23:07), Peter Rowley (23:17), Zoe Rothery (23:37), Richard Coulson (23:54), Gary Read (24:07), Danny Gordon (24:29), Steve McAllister (24:56), Gillian Harris (26:34), Ewan Henderson (26:35), Lewis Boshier (26:36), Aiden Robertson (28:21), Sally Singleton (29:15), Darryn Wood (40:01), Robert Marriott (47:34), Jeff Marriott (47:35) and Caroline Ridley-Marriott (47:37). Further afield, Michael Joyeux and Emma Whitworth completed the Pontefract course in 18:07 and 39:41.
