The Brass Monkey half marathon is a very popular race with athletes hoping to set a good time over the relatively flat course.  Michael Joyeux was first home for the Quakers in a personal best of 1:17:21, ahead of Paul Dalton in 1:17:37.  Katherine Hackett was first lady for the club as she also recorded a new personal best with 1:27:06.  Rob Dent set a new pb of 1:28:14, narrowly beating Colin Wild who recorded 1:28:16.  Also representing the club were Nick Mason (1:31:08), Chris Minto (pb of 1:38:15), Paul Roberts (1:38:52), Dave Whittle (1:41:30), Peter Dods (pb of 1:43:15), Andrew Walker (1:43:44), Steve Snook (1:43:59), Nic Hollindale (1:44:16), Stephen Ash (1:45:40), Mark Colling (pb of 1:47:46), Wendy Colling (pb of 1:48:19), Michael Oliver (1:49:23), Lindsey Lester (1:53:31), Darryn Wood (1:55:41), Paul Appleton (1:57:31), Bridget Stewart (pb of 1:58:12), Mel Newton (pb of 1:58:44), Michelle Boshier (1:59:39), Pamela Barrass (1:59:44), Sarah Wilson (1:59:59), Paul Dunn (2:00:10), Rob Marquiss (2:01:30), Clare Stradling (2:06:48), Jeanette Appleton (2:08:01), Sally Singleton (2:09:17), Wendy Noble (2:13:50), Gemma Marshall (2:13:53), Emma Whitworth (2:19:50) and Adrian Dent (2:43:51).

In a very muddy 5k trail race at Cowpen Bewley, Michael Ondrej was first home for the club in 21:13, followed by Ewan Henderson in 23:30 and Lucy Jefferies who was third lady in 23:48.  Anthony Corbett recorded 26:52, ahead of Stephen Moore in 27:18, with Ty Hankinson and Matt Jackson finishing in 29:05 and 30:01 respectively.  Aiden Robertson recorded 35:29, whilst Diane Adkins finished in 37:50.

At the Carlisle Resolution 10k race, David Todd recorded 41:55, with Louise Trainor setting 44:18.

At Darlington park run, Michael Joyeux was first Quaker home in 19:16, followed by Peter Commane (19:32), Brian Martin (20:05), Michael Kay (20:07), Nick Wadd (21:32), Nic Hollindale (22:25), Rob Gillham (23:18), Danny Gordon (24:07), Steve McAllister (24:20), Ingrid Gunning (25:32), Will Todd (28:30), Sandra Martin (28:57), Sue New (28:58), Michael King (29:03), Emma Bland (31:09), Paul Roberts (32:48), Emma Whitworth (34:30), Hazel Commane (34:30) and Darryn Wood (40:00).  Stephen Moore and Ty Hankinson completed the Albert Park and Newcastle events in 19:54 and 24:11 respectively, whilst at Tees Barrage, Paul Appleton recorded 25:20 and was followed by John Brant in 25:27 and Jeanette Appleton in 29:23.  At Sedgefield, Lucy Jefferies was first lady finisher in 21:25, followed by Stephen Deighton in 21:30 and Dave Thompson in 22:37.  Paul Jefferies completed his first park run in 24:56, ahead of Anthony Corbett in 25:14 and Mark Colling in 25:42.  April Corbett recorded 26:28 and was followed by Karen Ives in 27:20 and Sarah Deighton in 27:32 whilst Julie Jefferies was first finisher in her age category at her first park run.  Also completing the run were Gill Colling in 30:19, Diane Adkins in 32:15, Jill Wallis in 38:48 and Wendy Colling in 43:15.
