Paul Dalton had a fantastic run at the Northumberland Big 10 race at the weekend, recording 59:33 to finish in fourth place overall, and third in his age group.  Louise Trainor finished third in her age group with 1:11:20 with Peter Rowley completing the gently undulating 10 mile route in 1:17:55.

In local park runs, Paul Dalton was first to finish the 3 lap Darlington course in 17:56, followed by Michael Joyeux in 18:22 and Rob Dent in 19:24.  Ian Readman recorded 20:06 in his first run as a Quaker with Andrew Walker and Paul Roberts finishing in 21:55 and 22:29 respectively.  Also running for the Quakers were Peter Rowley (22:39), Jeff Marriott (24:52), Billy Harris (25:32), Lindsey Lester (28:06), Emma Whitworth (28:36), Michael King (28:41), Wendy Noble (29:24), Sally Singleton (31:37), Hazel Commane (34:38), Peter Commane (34:38), Adrian Dent (39:02) and Darryn Wood (39:38).  At the fast Albert Park event, Stephen Moore recorded 20:00, ahead of Steven Johnston in 24:01, whilst at Tees Barrage, Paul and Jeanette Appleton finished in 24:58 and 28:51.  The undulating trails at Hardwick Park saw Dave Thompson first home for the club in 23:35, followed by Sandra Cass in 25:20, Nicola Howe and Anthony Corbett in 25:43, with Gill and Mark Colling finishing in 30:28 and 30:29 respectively.  Further afield, John Brant returned to his home town to complete the Hull event in 24:05.
