Important Information

Registration will be at The White Horse Inn, Burtree Lane, Harrowgate Hill, Darlington, DL1 3AD
Parking is available at the rear of the Inn - please do not use the front car park.
There are toilets available but no changing facilities.
The Start / Finish is in the field opposite the Inn - Take care crossing the road !
Water will be provided at the finish and there will be light snacks / nibbles provided for the presentations afterwards. No muddy shoes inside please, so bring a change of footwear for the presentation/refreshments.

Depending on the weather conditions there may be parts of the route that are soft, wet or muddy underfoot.
The route will be well marked and marshalled.

  • Please note that this is an invitational run and it is not a UK Athletics registered event.
  • All runners therefore take part at their own risk.
  • There is no entry fee but donations to cover costs will be welcome.
  • Enter on the day only.
  • Numbers will be issued for administration purposes only.
  • Due to the distance and terrain we recommend a lower age limit of 15 years for this run.

Handicapping
Handicapping will be based on best personal 10K time in the previous 12 months and is not age/sex related.
If you have not done a 10K in that time we will estimate a time from the information you give us.
In all cases - please be honest with your times !

Prizes will be awarded to the first runners back, not the fastest time - subject to any time penalty for using the bridge rather than crossing the water hazard !

Our grateful thanks to the White Horse Inn for their hospitality.
